Course Description

PhD Applied Economics at Shoolini University is a 3-year program that provides an understanding of the application of economic theory and the tools of economic analysis. The especially designed curriculum develops a knowledge base as well as demonstrates an understanding of how to use microeconomic concepts to set up and analyse economic problems and implications. It trains scholars to identify, summarise, and interpret critique-relevant scholarly literature, identify important research problems, and formulate well-defined research objectives (e.g., testable hypotheses).

On the completion of the program, they can identify and use appropriate quantitative methods to accomplish research objectives and effectively use written and verbal communication skills to present economic concepts and analyses.
