Himalayan Sustainability

Nestled in the Himalayas, Shoolini has developed intrinsic strengths for joint research on sustainability in the Himalayan region with international counterparts. The ICIMOD, Kathmandu, included Shoolini amongst the reputed Consortium of Himalayan Universities (HUC). We have also partnered with another 150+ global universities on related research areas.

Outstanding Infrastructure

We have one of the best landscaped campuses, located in the midst of salubrious pine forests. Our library is housed in an iconic building that has received a Belgian Architectural Award, figuring on the cover page of an international magazine. Another high point is EBSCO access to more than one million publications. Facilities like eStudios, Indoor Stadium, Yogananda Ville, Tree Houses, and Cineplex are unique to our campus.

Innovation-based Pedagogy

Shoolini runs a successful SPRINT (Skills Progression through Rapid Intensive and Innovative Training) program that has been designed and evolved to provide accelerated learning to semi-urban youth for soft and technical skills. The innovative eUniv platform revolutionised online education, taking it to remote areas during the pandemic.

Research at Undergraduate Level

Shoolini encourages its students to pursue research even at the UG level. Many UG students have published Scopus indexed research papers, patents and are pursuing cutting edge careers in research in top universities such as Stanford University.
