Yogananda Library
The award-winning Yogananda Library (five-storied) is an architectural marvel. It is an esthetically designed energy-efficient building in the region. It was featured on the cover of ‘Roof and Façade Asia for its design based on the concept of looking inwards.
This one-of-a-kind EBSCO Online library has over one million publications. With state-of-the-art technology, the library enables 24x7 learning. It has on its shelves 40,000+ hard copy books for the use of students and faculty members, 1000 e-journals, more than 2 lakh e-books and various other resources for Engineering, Management, Law, etc. YKC has also subscribed to the EBSCO database, which provides access to all the resources available through EBSCO subscriptions. These are available in a full downloadable format without any restrictions.
Delnet, in addition to EBSCO, also provides access to research journals. The thesis and research papers of PhD and MPhil students are available both in the printed and electronic form and are available to students and members. The Analytics is also housed in the library where we have subscribed to IBM SPSS software to meet the data analysis needs of the students and faculty members. YKC is fully automated and most of its resources can be accessed through the YKC website http://library.shooliniuniversity.com/. Books may be issued and returned through the LMS. The building hosts a faculty club and terrace lawns as well.
